2026 Millage Workshop Information

The Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office (LLA) will offer five Millage Workshops in 2026. Two will be held virtually and three will be held in-person. The announced dates are posted below Select the date that you would like to attend, and click on the link to register. The participant’s name, taxing district, and e-mail address must be provided when registering.
Each workshop will provide a detailed explanation and discussion of reassessment, the millage adoption process, and the Open Meetings Law.
All participants should obtain a copy of the Setting Millage Rates book either by printing it or viewing it electronically during the millage workshop.
NB: We have updated the version of the Settings Millage Rates book (now dated 2026), so please download the new version!
Each registered participant of a virtual workshop should log into the Millage Workshop individually. This will allow each participant’s attendance to be recorded. While the LLA is not offering Continuing Professional Education credit for this workshop, the participant’s governing agency may. A confirmation of attendance can be provided if the (requesting) participant has logged into the workshop and remained active for the entire time.
